1, The physical property of gold wire is more stable than any other metal under the harsh environment. Copper wire bond led lamp is easier to be oxidized outdoors than gold wire one. So gold wire bond led lamp is more durable and more stable.
2, Usually the led chip size is larger in gold wire encapsulated lamp.
Larger led chip enables the led lamp present higher brightness and consume less power. Larger led chip is also better for heating dissipation. As we all know the heating in one of the major factor that affect the lifetime of the led lamp. So better heating dissipation means longer life time.
3, Lamp brackets may also be different. Gold wire encapsulated usually used copper brackets
while copper wires are used iron brackets. Copper brackets is better for heating dissipation and also won’t have the problem of getting rusty.
4, Compared to copper wire bond led lamp, gold wire bond led lamp is more expensive.

For the outdoor led display, we suggest choosing the gold wire bond lamp due to harsher environment outside. If for indoor led displays, copper wire bond led lamp would be a cost effective solution because of the better environment.
