Nowadays, LED screens are frequently used in large-scale events such as advertising, performances, parties, and press releases, and the stability of the display plays a vital role in the whole process, especially the active performance site. In order to achieve various display effects, it is necessary to frequently change the display splicing shape. The requirements for the display screen are not only convenient to install and debug, but also have high stability. So how to improve the stability of the rental LED stage screen? The following is explained from three aspects: material selection, system control solution, and real-time monitoring of the working status of the display.
Key materials that determine the stability of the display are LED lamp, driver IC, power supply, power signal connector, excellent structural design and so on. There are some requirements for material selection: switching power supply should have overheat protection; AC input should support wide voltage and anti-surge; the DC output should have overvoltage and overcurrent protection; the structural design should ensure a good heat dissipation method and a fast splicing method while ensuring the appearance and fashion of the cabinet.
Each part of the system control solution should have a hot backup function, including video transmission, receiving equipment, signal transmission cable, etc., which can ensure that the system can automatically diagnose and switch the standby device at an extremely fast speed when an unexpected situation occurs in a certain part of the system, and the entire switching process will not affect the display performance of the site. For example, in order to meet the needs of the stage scene, the display needs to be moved and stitched on the live scene. If a display signal input line in the middle of a large screen is loosened due to staff negligence or other reasons, in the conventional control scheme, there will be no signal in the display from the loose cabinet to the end of the signal cascade. If a hot backup solution is added to the control system, the hot backup function is activated at the moment when the signal line is loose, and the display can still work normally without any impact on the live broadcast site.
The working status of the display can be monitored in real time by computer, including temperature, humidity, voltage, smoke, working status of the cooling fan and so on. It can adjust various conditions automatically and provide location and alarms for anomalies. For example, when a cabinet has a relatively high internal temperature due to environment or other factors, the power supply inside the cabinet may be over-temperature protected. If the display is monitored in this situation, the system will reduce the internal temperature of the display by adjusting the operating state of the display intelligently. When the intelligent adjustment can't lower the temperature to the set target, the system will alarm by the staff setting mode, and provide the abnormal cabinet position to notify the staff to deal with it in time, thus to ensure the normal work of the display.
In summary, to improve the stability of the rental stage LED screen should be considered from the material selection, hardware design, system control solution and so on.
